Overview
Trying to recover from the loss of his wife, Benjamin purchases a new home for his family. The property includes a zoo, which thrills his young daughter, Rosie, but angers his son Dylan. The zoo is in desperate need of renovation and new funding, so Benjamin throws himself into both tasks with the help of the head zookeeper, Kelly, who develops strong feelings for Ben. As he attempts to keep the zoo afloat long enough to get it open again, Ben also struggles to re-connect with his son, who is growing more distant each day. Just in time, Ben learns that his late wife has left enough money behind to get the zoo back in operation and at the same time, finally breaks through the barriers Dylan has erected.
