Overview
Karen Blixen is a Danish woman who marries a man she doesn’t love, and shortly after they are married, he announces they are moving to Africa. They start a coffee plantation, but her new husband is often away from the farm. He is cheating on Karen, and she seeks solace in pouring her energies into making the coffee plantation thrive. One day, Karen meets two brothers, one of whom is a legendary explorer, Denys Finch Hatton. They fall in love with each other, and they go on safari together often over the years whenever he is in the area. However, Karen finds herself wanting more, and she pushes Denys to make their relationship more than just this intermittent love affair.
