Overview
Eli Smith displays a musical talent that has others considering him to be a piano prodigy. His mother Penny offers him constant encouragement when she not's dealing with her own drug addiction issues. But Eli is faced with missing an audition appointment to enter his dream music program because it's the same day that his mother is finally being admitted to a rehab program, so the pair cleverly enlists the aid of Penny's drug dealer so that Eli's musical career is not derailed by his mother's demons.
