Overview
Lincoln Hawk's dying wife Christina has only one request for him: pick up his son from military school and get to know the boy that he hasn't seen for over ten years. Lincoln picks up Mike and begins a cross-country trip with him in Lincoln's semi. Though hesitant of Lincoln at first, Mike learns to trust him and cheers for him in the arm-wrestling contests that Lincoln competes in to make some extra cash. The two try to evade the hit men sent by Christina's father Jason, who disapproves of Lincoln. Eventually they converge on Las Vegas where Lincon sells his truck to place a bet on himself to win the Arm Wrestling World Championship title. When Lincoln claims victory, Jason begrudgingly accepts Lincoln's place in Mike's life, and Mike and Lincoln use the winnings to start a new chapter together.
