Eight years ago, two girls are convicted of taking and killing an infant. The detective who worked the kidnapping on that case, Nancy Porter, is still troubled by her inability to save the life of that missing child. The girls have since come home from prison, and another child goes missing, this time a three year old. The two girls are the suspects once again, and Detective Porter works to uncover the mystery of this girl's kidnapping as well as the reasons for the earlier infant's death. |
