Overview
In the old English village of Gladbury, the village candlestick maker sets out a special Christmas Candle. According to the century’s old Legend every twenty-five years the candle is touched by an angel. Whoever lights the candle receives a special gift on Christmas eve. But with the discovery of electricity the Christmas Candle legend is threatened. Then young minister David Richmond arrives in Gladbury with modern ideas. As the candlestick maker fights to keep the legend alive and the young minister fights to modernize the village, the Christmas Candle goes missing. Will it tear the village apart? Or, perhaps Gladbury will have the best Christmas it has ever had.
