Trailer | Overview The Pharaoh of Egypt decrees that all first-born Hebrew sons be put to death. To save her infant, a woman pushes him into the Nile River on a floating basket. This infant named Moses is found by the daughter of the pharaoh, and he is raised as part of the Pharaoh’s royal court. When he grows up, the Hebrew heritage of Moses is revealed. He is banished from Egypt. Moses wanders across the desert, and he meets his wife and raises a family. One day, God appears to Moses in the form of a burning bush. He commands Moses to return to Egypt to free the Hebrew slaves from the tyranny of Ramses. He faces many struggles to free the slaves and lead them to freedom. |
