Overview
The owner of a tabloid hears that the Archangel Michael is living with an old woman in Iowa. He sends out a team to get the story. The team consists of a reporter, a photographer and a self-professed angel expert. Michael does indeed have angel wings but the similarity ends there as he smokes, drinks, belches and swears. He explains that he is on his last vacation on Earth and intends to make the best of it. He refuses to fly however, so the team rents a car and drives him to Chicago. Along the way Michael uses up the last of his miracles and begins to grow weak. It is revealed that his true mission is to help the reporter and angel expert fall in love.
