The garage mechanic for a woman named Shannon is a mysterious driver who is kind, of few words, and lives in Los Angeles. Unbeknownst to her he also drives as a stuntman in many films in Hollywood, and is the person who drives getaway cars for heists for various criminals. One day he decides to give assistance to his friend named name Irene. Irene has a husband who is in prison, but the driver ends up falling in love with her and her son Benicio anyway. A while later, however, Irene's husband is released from prison. Standard Gabriel, the husband, forces a man to steal from a pawn shop in order to pay off the protection he had in prison. The heist, however, does not go as planned for the driver who acts as the getaway car driver, and is forced to protect both Irene and Benicio from dangerous mobsters. |
