Overview
A timid teacher named Jefferson Reed is no match for the Golden Lords, a street gang terrorizing his Washington D.C. neighborhood. All that changes, though, when Jefferson is struck down by a meteor. He soon discovers that he has gained the powers of a superhero. With a new name, Meteor Man, and a costume made by his mother, Jefferson begins to rid the neighborhood of crime and evildoers. In the process he unites the community as they try to take down the Golden Lords. But Jefferson's new powers are only temporary. Will he still be willing to stand up to the ruthless gang when he is no longer Meteor Man but just plain old Jefferson Reed?
