Apache chief Geronimo is a legendary figure because of the resistance that he put up when the US government began to encroach upon his people. Geronimo resists the efforts of the government to force the Apaches onto reservations and decimate their way of life. While most of his brethren accept their new lives as farmers of corn, he rallies 30 other young men with a warrior spirit similar to his own. Going up against the United States government is not easy, and it comes with many risks. Still, he is determined to show that the Apache way of life will not just vanish without a fight. He may not be able to win this war, but he is going to go out with a passion. |
