Overview
It is 1938, and pilot Cliff Secord has his plane shot out of the sky during a gunfight between the FBI and some gangsters. His plane is a complete wreck. Later on, Cliff finds a package that was hidden by the gangsters during their escape. It runs out to contain a rocket pack that allows a man to fly. Cliff’s best friend Eddie is performing in a flight exhibition when he has mechanical trouble with his airplane. Cliff puts on the rocket pack to save him from certain death. The media dubs him the Rocketeer, and now the gangsters know that someone has their rocket pack. Now, Cliff has the gangsters, the FBI and German spies all after him to get the rocket pack.
