The Dream Team contains a story of hilarity and love between four patients from a New Jersey sanitarium. A doctor takes pity on the patients and takes them to a Yankees game, where he is knocked out for witnessing a murder, leaving the patients to their own devices. The patients run around the city, trying to get their beloved doctor out of the hospital and trying to keep themselves from being framed for the murder. All four characters run into some crazy situations in the city, while three of them reassess their reasons for being in the sanitarium. They grow closer through their hilarious hijinks and wonder if they really need to remain in the sanitarium. They do eventually get their doctor - and themselves - off the hook, but not before the audience has busted a gut laughing at their efforts. |
