A successful attorney is chosen to pave the way for a satellite TV deal in China. While there, he has a young Chinese lady spend the night with him. When he wakes up in the morning, she is still next to him, but quite dead. Her death is then blamed on him by the authorities and he is arrested. He must fight the murder charges in a system that is not only unfamiliar to him, but also corrupt, and his young and inexperienced Chinese attorney does not believe he is innocent. Convincing his attorney of his innocence then leads them both through a maze of intrigue in an attempt to clear his name of the young lady's murder. |
