Sarah Morton is a successful mystery writer in need of a break. She accepts her publisher's offer to spend some time at his villa in France. But just when a relaxed Sarah is getting her creative juices flowing, her publisher's daughter, Julie, arrives unexpectedly. The conservative Sarah is put off by Julie's libertine lifestyle. The two women initially clash, but gradually an uneasy friendship develops. Sarah becomes fascinated by the sexually free Julie. The relationship between the two is complicated further when they are both drawn to the same man, Franck. But when Franck goes missing, Sarah begins to realize that Julie has more secrets than she is willing to share. |
