Overview
Jonathan Corliss finds out that his secret girlfriend Dorothy is pregnant with his child. Knowing that that will cause problems with her wealthy father and his future career, he calmly kills her and makes it look like she committed suicide. Jonathan, still wanting the money and career help from Dorothy's father, moves to New York and starts to romance Dorothy's twin sister Ellen. Ellen however does not believe her sister committed suicide and as she digs deeper into her sister's death, Jonathan realizes he may have to kill again.
