Overview
After the brutal murder in an isolated beach house of a wealthy San Francisco woman, a husband is devastated to learn that he is the prime suspect for the crime. Still reeling from the loss of his wife, he must nevertheless press on and defend himself against the charges he claims are false. He hires a talented female lawyer to represent him, despite her uncertainty about her readiness for the job. As the trial unfolds, the romantic chemistry between her and her client builds, adding to the energy and suspense of the courtroom. Twists and turns persist throughout this taught psychological thriller, leaving the audience on edge until the final scenes.
