Trailer | Overview Two English cartographers arrive at the fictional village of Ffynnon Garw with the assignment to measure the village’s mountain. Mountains are required to be 1,000 feet high, but the specialists find that, as the measurements are short of that height, the mountain only qualified as a hill. The mountain is the village's claim to fame. Hilarity ensues as the village works feverishly to keep the cartographers from leaving while they build up the hill to the required height. This film is based on the actual Welsh village of Taff’s Well and neighboring Garth Hill in a 1917 event. |
