Overview
A Parisian cat named Duchess lives in splendor at the home of Madame Adelaide. Duchess and her three kittens, named Toulouse, Berlioz and Marie, are pampered and petted. One day Madame’s butler Edgar overhears Madame telling her lawyer that she is leaving her vast fortune to the cats or to Edgar if the cats die first. Edgar hatches a scheme to dispose of the cats in the countryside. After the cat-napping, Duchess and the kittens need help to get home to Paris, and find it in the form of a tough alley cat named Thomas O’Malley. He introduces them to some swinging jazz cats. O’Malley eventually gets the cats home and foils Edgar, aided by Roquefort the mouse and Frou-Frou the horse.
