Jimmie Shannon is a confirmed, life-long bachelor who eschews talking about marriage even though his girlfriend wants to walk down the aisle. When he reluctantly pops the question and shows that his heart isn't really in it, she takes off. Jimmie's grandfather dies shortly thereafter, leaving him with $100 million, but there's an important clause in the will: Jimmie has to be married before he turns thirty in order to inherit the money. The race is on to find a bride. Jimmie starts plowing through his little black book to find someone to marry him. He finds no success and no elusive bride. Finally, Anne returns, realizes that Jimmie has had a genuine change of heart and marries him in front of a full church of prospective brides who all want to marry Jimmie. |
