When their three year old son, Ben, is kidnapped, his family struggles to move on. Nine years later, his parents, older brother, and younger sister, move to a new town and the boy who offers to mow their lawn seems very familiar. So familiar that the mother, Beth, launches an investigation that reveals that this boy, now called Sam, is actually Ben. Despite this joyful discovery, reintegrating Ben with his biological family is extremely difficult. He does not want to leave his adoptive father and struggles to get along with his siblings. Eventually, his parents decide it’s best for Ben to return to his adoptive father but he decides to stay after revealing to his older brother that he has always felt safe with him. |
