Overview
As the editor of a New York City tabloid, Henry Hatchett works long hours for little pay and even less respect. Financial difficulties force the tabloid's publisher to make drastic cutbacks, putting Henry at odds with his arch-enemy, Alicia Clark. Stress from his job and pressure from his expectant wife Martha has Henry considering an offer to a larger mainstream New York newspaper. While it means better pay, shorter hours and a higher degree of respectability, Henry views the job as boring and unchallenging. Before he makes his decision, Henry begins investigating a story involving two teens who are charged with the murder of two businessmen in Brooklyn. Before long, his life threatens to unravel as he attempts to prove his hunch that the teens are innocent.
