Overview
When Michael Oher is taken in by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, his life, and theirs, will change forever. Michael had a rough childhood, and high school did not see things getting better. He was placed in various foster homes, and a friend of his father finally took a leap of faith. Michael was admitted to Wingate Christian School. When Leigh Anne sees Michael walking along the road one night in the cold, she invites him to stay with her family. Mike learns what it is like to have a family, and they help him build himself up academically and athletically. Mike carries on family tradition and attends Ole Miss, later to be drafted into the NFL.
