Overview
Prime tells the story of a recent divorcee, Rafi Gardet, who is a photography producer. Set against the backdrop of contemporary New York City, Rafi works with her therapist, Dr. Lisa Metzger, to overcome her fear of intimacy. When Rafi meets David Bloomberg, she is taken with the newly-graduated painter. Unfortunately, David is therapist Lisa's son. As the story unfolds, Rafi and David acknowledge their differences, which include a fourteen year age gap and religious conflicts. They must decide if their differences are too much to overcome or if their attraction is worth the work.
