Overview
Senate hopeful David Norris has lost the election and is preparing to give his concession speech. When he meets a beautiful stranger named Elise in a hotel bathroom, he is inspired to give a more candid speech, making him a favorite for the next election. He is intrigued by Elise but soon finds out that a mysterious group of men called the Adjustment Bureau control his destiny and are intent on keeping the couple apart. David is warned that he must stay away from Elise but for years he continues to search for her. When the two finally reconnect, they choose to create their own destiny and must do everything in their power to escape the Adjust Bureau.
