Overview
Future survivors remember the complicated man who saved them: The Road Warrior. It has been five years since former Main Force Patrol police officer Max "Mad Max" Rockatansky lost his family to a motorcycle gang after gas shortages lead to anarchy, global war and the end of law and order. Max spends his days and nights speeding through the wasteland of the Australian Outback in his supercharged black car searching for ways to survive and locate fuel. Although he thought he couldn't lose anything else in life, he soon realizes how wrong he is when he comes across an oil refinery drilling settlement with civilians under siege by a local barbaric gang. Soon, he must decide whether to walk away...or become a law enforcer again.
