Overview
Bernie LaPlante does not believe that his life can get any worse. His ex-wife won’t let him spent time with their son, he recently became unemployed, and his attitude and willingness to deal with people has reached an all-time low. When he helps rescues passengers after a terrible plan crash, he gets not credit for his efforts. As a result, Bernie seeks to receive the sort of recognition and rewards that he rightfully deserves.
