Overview
A group of Latin American children with no familial ties live in a remote area of the mountains and act like a family. They watch each others backs by day and night. These children are members of a special military squad called Monos. They were conscripted by another group called The Organization. Their sole duties are to watch a female prisoner of war referred to as Doctora and practice military training drills in preparation for potential combat. During down time, they play and act almost like normal children. Their mission goes perfectly for a long time until suddenly they're ambushed and forced to flee. Hiding in the jungle is their only option. It will test their skills and ties to each other.
