A well-loved 14th century king of Scotland, Robert the Bruce, is declared an outlaw by the English nobility who have invaded the land with the intent of ruling over it and its people. The English proclaim that anyone who gives Robert shelter or aids him in any attempt to take back the country will also be declared an outlaw and executed when caught without any hope of a trial.
Outnumbered by the English army, Robert and his allies must use their knowledge of their homeland and a variety of guerilla-style tactics to take back Scotland village by village and castle by castle. |
