An American doctor and his wife are in Paris for a medical conference. While he is in the shower, his wife suddenly disappears without a clue. Speaking very little French, he is unable to get the help from the French authorities that he so desperately needs. He is forced to go into the French underground sub-culture and try to find out what happened to his wife all on his own. He must deal with gangsters, druggies and punks in order to find his wife. |
