Overview
In a rural Minnesota town, working-class guy Hank Mitchell, his brother and a friend discover a crashed airplane in the woods. They find a dead pilot and an astounding $4.4 million in cash. Hank is talked into remaining quite about the money by his not to bright brother, Jacob, and their friend Lou. They hatch a plan to split the money three ways and not spend any for now. Sheriff Jenkins is in the dark, but that doesn't stop Jacob from attempting to kill a man he thinks is on to them. Hank must finish the bungled killing to protect Jacob and the money. Jacob and Lou prove they cannot be trusted to keep their end of the deal. Hank takes drastic action with deadly consequences.
