Overview
Sandy Ricks is none too thrilled when his mother sends him packing one summer in order to spend time with his Uncle Rick Porter who lives on an island in the Florida Keys. Everything about his temporary summer home seems to annoy young Sandy, until he makes friends with an unlikely pal, a very smart dolphin named Flipper. His friendship with Flipper brings him closer to his Uncle as the trio are involved in an exciting adventure that is likely to top anything experienced by Rick's classmates back home.
