Addie and Louis live in the same neighborhood in Holt, Colorado. Both are widowers and have been for a number of years. They each have one child, both living far away. The two have lived near one another for years and known one another the way anyone living in a small community knows someone they don't interact with. One day, unexpectedly, Addie pays a visit to Louis for no other reason than she is lonely and thinks he may be lonely, too. The two connect with each other, and consider making the most of the rest of their lives by living them together. |
