Overview
This Netflix Original Movie centers around Okja, one of twenty-six genetically engineered "superpigs" created by the Mirando Corporation and sent to live around the world. Okja has been raised on a South Korean farm by a girl named Mija and her grandfather. When the Mirando Corporation, in particular its evil former CEO Nancy Mirando, want to do unethical experiments on Okja and then slaughter her, Mija works with the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) in order to rescue Okja and expose their crimes, both to the public and the Mirando Corporation's more ethical CEO, Lucy Mirando.
