Overview
Cold War II picks up where Cold War left off. Sean Lau's been promoted to Commissioner of Police. He's soon thrown into the most personal case of his life when a thief kidnaps his wife in order to get Lau to release a prisoner, Joe Lee. Joe Lee is former Deputy Commissioner M.B. Lee's son. Joe's been scheming with the kidnapper in a plot to destroy Lau. The plan is to oust Lau so that M.B. Lee can take Lau's job. This pits Lau and Lee against each other once more.
