Overview
When nine year old Walter Collins goes missing, his mother, Christine, finds herself in a whirlwind political debate as she takes on the Los Angeles police department. With the help from Pastor Briegleb, Christine is finally reunited with her son, or at least that’s what they want her to believe. However, the boy returned to her is a stranger, but the LAPD will not hear it; they go searching for the pat on the back they deserve. Instead of investigating further, they reply to Collins’ concerns by claiming that she is crazy and have her institutionalized. As Christine is forced to mourn the loss of her son from an insane asylum, a dedicated detective, sent to deport a young man illegally residing in Canada, comes across a bone chilling tale that will change the course of the investigation forever.
