Overview
A wealthy young socialite, her wealthy but devious husband and a crooked younger lover all combine to put a new spin on Hitchcock’s classic thriller “Dial M for Murder.” The young wife, Emily, is heir to a $100 million family fortune and also involved in an affair with David, a handsome young artist. Husband Stephen, a successful hedge fund manager, has become involved in some shady margin transactions that are now due to be paid. Confronting David with evidence of his past criminal record, Stephen hires him to kill Emily and secure her inheritance. Things go awry when David hires a hit man who accidentally gets killed by Emily. Events take a surprising turn as Steven’s plan comes to light for a surprise ending.
