While attending to a confession, a catholic priest is told his life is in direct danger as part of a revenge plot from a man who was sexually abused by a different priest as a child. Father James is left in a quandary as he is forced to deal with the catholic church and current moral issues surrounding the local environment. As Father James deals with his own family issues regarding a potentially suicidal daughter, his is also left to deal with the local parishioners, an assortment of interesting and sometimes comical individuals. His ability to focus on the events around him is skewed by the impending threat on his life and his desire to be the kind of priest he always sought to be. |
