Overview
Dr. Benjamin Stone is driving cross country to his dream job at an elite plastic surgery practice in Beverly Hills when his luxury Porsche, and his life, takes a detour right into a country fence in the town of Grady, South Carolina. Sentenced to 32 hours of community medical service in the village, he desires to quickly serve his time and get back on the highway when the unexpected happens. He slowly falls in love with the small-town life and with the town's ambulance driver. When his Porsche is repaired, he opts to leave it parked in Grady and set up shop as the town's new doctor.
