Overview
Carter seems to have turned out just fine despite the fact that he is an adult child of divorce, otherwise known as an A.C.O.D. His parents have been divorced for 15 years and he has been able to move on and start a family of his own. What Carter did not know is that he was part of a study 15 years ago that is trying to monitor the effects of divorce on children when they are young, and as they grow up and start their own families. When Carter finds out that he must participate in the follow-up study, it turns his entire world upside down. He finds out more about his new family than he ever knew, and he also realizes some interesting things about himself as well.
