Overview
Kate and her husband Charlie have what they believe to be an excellent marriage, but the main thing they have in common is their alcoholism. After a particularly bad binge, Kate begins to question her life and, with the help of a co-worker, joins a support group to quite drinking. Before long Charlie begins to resent her actions and their marriage, as well as Kate's struggle for sobriety, deteriorates. The couple examine their separate lives and troubles closely and have a hard time coming to terms with what they find.
