Overview
Chuck is a troubled child who is disturbed by all the changes that have come to his family recently. He wants to go to boarding school, but he can't afford to do so. Instead, he finds other reasons to avoid home as much as possible. When he meets his reclusive neighbor and learns that he used to be a teacher, the studious boy develops a friendship that keeps him nicely occupied. Rumors follow Justin McLeod, whose face is horribly disfigured from a car accident in which a boy was killed. Many suspect that he is a pedophile, and his growing friendship with Chuck ignites that suspicion in his mother's mind as they start spending more and more time together. How long can this friendship continue?
