Overview
Eight-year-old Devon Butler is obsessed with being a police officer. He spends all his free time watching police shows and playing cops and robbers with a friend of his. He's determined to become a cop when he grows up, but fate throws an unusual opportunity his way. One day, he happens to be in the right place at the right time to witness a murder. Naturally, the police want his story, but he won't talk unless they make him a cop. Desperate to stop this killer before he can strike again, the police agree, and they team him up with Nick McKenna, an ornery police officer who hates kids. He'll have to learn to put up with Devon so they can catch the killer together.
