Overview
Divorced author Tom Hicks moves from the US to Paris in an effort to patch things up with his wife and daughter. His wife forbids him from seeing his daughter and his belongings are stolen. Desperate for some quick cash, Hicks begins working as a night watchman in a neglected Parisian hotel. He soon meets two very different women: one a charming Polish bartender and the other an enigmatic widow who will only meet with him at certain times.
