Overview
Rajvinder Singh is a Sikh youth living in Toronto. Singh's greatest passion is playing hockey, much to the dismay of his father, who wants him to work in the family business and maintain strict Sikh practices. Singh tries to get onto a professional hockey team but faces prejudice from white players and coaches, even his own friends. After befriending law student Melissa and her brother Dan, Singh decides to form his own all-Sikh team, with Dan as coach. Can the newly formed "Speedy Singhs" gain the respect of the other teams and challenge the current champion?
