Overview
Bernadette Hogan, known as Benny, is an Irish girl with two good friends. She grew up with Eve and Nan, and despite their many differences, the three remain friends during their university years. Benny’s parents want her to marry one of her father’s employees, but Benny has other ideas. She falls in love with a rugby player named Jack. When Nan’s boyfriend leaves her pregnant, she tricks Jack into thinking he’s the father, and Jack, being a good man, decides to marry her. This news devastates Benny. She heads home, where she discovers that the man whom her parents wanted her to marry has been stealing from her father’s business. All truths are finally revealed and Benny and Jack reconcile.
