Overview
A fatal car accident one night claims the life of Sam St. Cloud, the younger brother of Charlie St. Cloud who, in turn, secludes himself from the norms of life as a result of his immense guilt-ridden conscience. After Sam's funeral, Sam's spirit appears visible only to Charlie and together they make a promise: to meet each day at sunset and play catch. However, reality soon begins to slowly sink back in for Charlie when an old acquaintance, Tess Carroll, reenters his life. With the real world opening up again, Charlie unfortunately realizes that he'll soon have to choose between Tess and his own brother's spirit. Either choice will cost him in the end, and he is left torn between the living and the dead.
