Overview
Small-town dishwasher Joe Buck moves to New York City, planning to make a fortune as a male prostitute. He discovers to his chagrin that female clients are few and far between and he can only make money by soliciting men dressed as a cowboy. As he struggles to find paying gigs, he meets fast-talking grifter Ratso Rizzo who shares his street smarts with the unsophisticated Joe. Together, the two men struggle to stay afloat in a cold and indifferent city.
