Overview
Two gangs in New York City, the Jets and the Sharks are fighting over the same territory when Tony and Maria fall in love at a dance. Unfortunately, Tony is a Jet and Maria's brother is a Shark. They start meeting secretly, but they are soon discovered by both sides. This escalates the rivalry even further, and the Jets and the Sharks decide to fight it out in a rumble to determine who gets to claim the territory.
