Overview
Growing up in an orphanage, Homer Wells has lived a sheltered yet unconventional life. A cadre of orphan boys and eccentric orphanage head Dr. Wilbur Larch have been the closest thing to a family that he has ever had. That all changes one day when the beautiful Candy arrives at the orphanage, seeking Dr. Larch's services. Enamored with Candy and eager to see the world, Homer agrees to leave with Candy and her fiance Wally to work on his family farm. Amidst the apple orchards, Homer begins to fall more deeply in love with Candy and experiences what it's like to be part of the real world.
